Blake & Boky
Where two artistic practices meet.
Blake Ward and Boky Hackel-Ward needed a brand system that could hold both sides of their practice. Their work exists in relationship, but not sameness. The identity had to support them as a creative partnership while respecting the distinct voice, authorship, and recognition of each artist.
Unbound developed a visual identity centred on a custom B2 emblem. The mark became a symbol of intersection. Two artists. Two practices. One shared point of connection.
The wordmark system used both solid and outline treatments. This created a visual language that could shift between presence and restraint, depending on the application. It gave the brand flexibility across exhibitions, digital, print, collector materials, and individual artist communications.
The result was a brand system with balance. Blake & Boky gained a unified identity for their collaborative work, without erasing who they are on their own.
